I live in Belgium (Western Europe) and my website is designed in my mother tongue.
But as people from all over the world can get onto my website,
I explain briefly in English something about me and my website.

My name is Filip De Decker.
I spend a lot of my time behind my camera.
I mainly concentrate on model work in a studio.
I have my own equipment for that purpose (flashes, soft boxes, reflectors, tripods, backgrounds, ...).
The advantage of a studio is that the photographer and the models are not influenced by uncontrollable factors.
I almost always work with female models because women who have the spirit
to stand in front of a camera have something which makes them very photo-exceptional.
I always find it an extraordinary experience to work together with a model
and create nice and artistic pictures of her.
I find that women are by far the most beautiful creatures on earth.
Enhancing that beauty by capturing it during a fraction of a second
and freezing it in an image creates the finest impressions one could imagine.
A thing of beauty is a joy for ever.
I am member of the Koninklijke Fotoclub Merksem.
I am not a professional.

The structure of my site is quite simple.
There is the home page and from there you can go to any other page available on my site.
These pages contain a number of pictures at their actual size,
so you do not have to click constantly on a picture to enlarge it.
Whilst you are looking at the first picture in a series, the rest of the page is loaded.
By scrolling up or down, you can look at all the pictures.
There are buttons to return to my home page
or you can simply use the back-space key in order to go back to my main page.
